1) The northwest edge of Niles Bay on Lake Vermilion has some nice weed edges which hold  lots of walleye, panfish and other species.

2) Wakemup narrows provides a variety of shallow water habitat types. The water warms up early resulting in good spring fishing.

3) This is a great place to fish after a blow from the north or east. Fish the downwind shore from the most recent wind whenever practical  here or in other locations.
